My ideal holidays

Hello my dear classmates.

Today, I shall talk about my ideal holidays. My ideal holydays would be in Europe, I would like to go to this continent to see all the classics buildings, its architecture, its culture, its people, its soccer stadium and teams and obviously the Mediterranean Sea, especially the part of Greece, because I have always admired its culture. I think that Europe it’s a very interesting continent to know, and I consider that this place has a lot of places to visit, for example: it has beautiful buildings from different period of history, it also has beautiful natural places like The Mediterranean Sea, or its navigable rivers like The Rhain River or The Danube River, or other kinds or interesting rivers like The Río Tinto in Spain, which has red water derived its acid pH and its contained some metals like cooper, cadmium, manganese, etcetera.

In Chili, if I would to choose a place to go, I will choose the south of our country, specifically Torres del Paine National Park. I think that Chili has amazing landscapes and this is one of the most beautiful, so, in a near future I would love to go to this place and other places in the southern zone.

If I had to choose a place in the north of Chili, I would choose The Salt flat of Atacama and the others Sal flat that makes possible the existence of a lot of migratory birds.

My Favorite Picture =D

Hello to everyone =D, I want to star tell you that this topic is great because I love take pictures and It is one of my hobby’s.

Well, this is a photograph of Agustín, my little son =D, He is two years old. This picture was taken by me, this year, on September 24th when Agus was looking something, maybe a bird, maybe the plants, I don't know, but I think that I pushed de shooter in the exact moment, because in the picture he doesn't like a 2 years old boy, he looks like older and that’s make think in the time, it is so fast, he grow up so fast. I love this picture, especially because it is in Black & White and give it something especial.

I love every picture that I take to my son, but, I think that this is one the best. I shall take more photos every time that I can, and I hope take better images of anything, specially my little boy.

My Best Place to Eat

Hi everybody, today I'll talk you about places to eat.

Well, to define my best place to eat I have to choose my favorite foods, and I love beef and fries. So, with this information I look for some place to eat with these important things in the menu. I also try to look for a place that has a not expensive menu, because I want to eat a lot of times in the month xD ahahhaah.

The first place that i choose is my house, obviously when I can eat beef, I mean every day xD, the fries is more difficult, because I eat this food only two or three times in a month. But, if I choose a place out of my house I prefer the Mamut Restaurant, which is located in many malls of our country. They have an excellent beef and fries with different options of prepare.

Other local or restaurant to eat it can be De Tomo y Lomo, because the beef is excellent, although it's a little expensive.

I don’t have the money to eat in this places every day or every week therefore I have to choose another place with some this characteristic to eat and this place is McDonalds xD. I know that this place is not the best restaurant to eat, but it doesn’t matter, because I like this food, especially the Double Quarter Pounder with cheese.

Nonetheless, the best place to eat beef that I’ve visited is the Port Market of Montevideo in Uruguay, a place near to the sea that have grills in every restaurant, with many beef, the all parts of the cow xD ahahaha and you can eat with amazing fries, I only ate there once, and I ate fries with Rump skirt (colita de cuadril) and another dish with fries with Shorts ribs (asado de tira). If you visit Uruguay you must to go to this place.

Stereotypes in the FAU

I think that in the FAU exist many stereotypes. In this faculty we have three differences careers, and everyone represent a big stereotype. I also think that in every career we have different stereotypes, different kind of people, which to group depending of the characteristic of its members. Specifically, in Geography exist different groups or stereotypes, because this career has two big branch of investigation, this are the physical geographers and the social geographers.

I don't know if exists big different in the other careers of the faculty, I'm more familiarized with the stereotypes of my career, but I think that the different between the careers of our faculty lies in the perspective of the career itself, because geography, architecture and design doesn't have much in common.

With respect of Geography, the most characteristic between geographers physical and social is the study object, because the social geographers study thing related with people and the physical geographers study the geo-forms of the earth. In social geography we have a lot of “lana” people, who are characterized for using wool clothes and for be calm people, in peace with everyone, like a modern “hippie”. The physical geographers doesn’t have a defined stereotype, but in this group we can find person like Ignacio Ibarra, a person who has a very effeminate laugh, and also is a very stingy man and tell to everyone that he is a very poor person since Piñera assumed the presidency of Chili. This person represents a singular stereotype of fag, liar, and a crybaby person.
