Beaches in Uruguay

I haven't visited many beaches in my life; the truth is that I prefer visit rivers and lakes. But this year I went to Uruguay, and I visited some beaches in Colonia del Sacramento, Montevideo, and Punta del Diablo. The last one is part of the Atlantic Ocean, and the others two belong to the River Plate. I enjoy a lot of all this beaches, but in my point of view the better one is Punta del Diablo. This beach is amazing, because is a small town, without asphalt streets, with small bars, and beautiful huts and hostels, that mainly accommodates young people, like me or Simon. Punta del Diablo is a fishing village and have amazing beaches, so the that activity now is a complement to the tourism, overcoat in summer, when the people can enjoy all the attractions of this beach. Also is important because near to this town exist a National Park, called Santa Teresa, which one contain a great many of Flora and Wildlife. You can visited the beaches of this National Park too, and swim in the ocean or watch the wildlife like native birds, or turtles in Cabo Polonio, or Wales in the coast of Rocha, the department where belong Punta del Diablo.

If you have the chance to visit Uruguay, you must to visit the beaches of Rocha, like Punta del Diablo, or the beaches that visited Simon, like La Paloma and La Pedrera.

You will not regret.
